Pastor Rich Vogt is a thief, liar, and stole all my belongings from my storage unit. Check Facebook under Arlene Kordick

My family had been at this church for about 4 times. The attendance is high and the people are friendly. Although the people greet you at first glance my family and I found it difficult to hold conversation or to make even aquantinces. The messages are great and we found that to be a strength of the church that is unfortunately very rare these days.
I rated this church as a 2 out of 5 because it feels disconnected, almost an elitist attitude of the regulars and the new comers. I have been "stone walled" 15 times within the past two weeks I have come where I have attempted to make conversation only for it to become null and void. Prior to those two weeks I have lost count where my attempts have failed. This attitude I find is disappointing especially in a church environment. My most recent recollection of an unfair treatment was when I went to the meet and greet area [Cafe I want to say] where I donated $4 of the remaining money I had into a basket. I was getting a coffee and one of the members working at the cafe just stared at me. That's all he did... I nodded twice and no response was given back. I later met him in the hall attempted to say hi and... well nothing. That experience was the final straw for me. Do these actions really represent community? These actions no matter how petty (wether it be me or what the church is displaying) cut deep and was real to me. Prior to going to this church my family was firmly planted in a church who was friendly. They recognised new faces and returning faces. I have always been the outcast of church groups and had never really respected either as an equal or a member. This opened my family's eyes to what I was going through for about 9 to 10 years of going to a church. If this review gets the attention of the pastor or any of its staff all I would like to say is: Prune what needs to be pruned, plant what needs to be planted and never put your light under a bowl for it to be hidden to new comers; Because the church's job is to be salt and light to the world.Added August 30, 2016 by Crosswalkcal
